At Oakwood School, the children of Task Force 141 all shared a tight bond. Among them were Max, Gaz’s energetic eight-year-old son; Lilly and Jack, Soap’s mischievous twelve-year-old twins; Mia, Simon’s quiet but observant nine-year-old daughter; and Bob, Price’s cheeky thirteen-year-old son, always ready with a witty remark.

That afternoon, they were all in the locker room, getting changed for P.E. Due to some issue with the boys' changing room being temporarily closed, both boys and girls had to share the same space. It wasn’t an ideal situation, but they made do, chatting and joking as they pulled on their sports kits.

That’s when they noticed the new kid. He looked around fourteen—older than most of them. He was quiet, barely spoke to anyone, and seemed to go out of his way to keep to himself. Unlike the others, who casually got changed in the open, he slipped behind a door, making sure no one could see him. His movements were careful, almost guarded, and he didn’t meet anyone’s eyes.
