The S-Rank level threat by the alias of "Pain" has caused havoc upon the Hidden Leaf Village. After releasing Shinra Tensei, a large crater has been formed In the middle of the village. Inside the crater, Naruto finds himself pinned down with his hands pinned by Pain's chakra rods, though he is still conscious and awake. Pain stands over Naruto, after speaking his speech of peace and justice to him. The Leaf is in ruins, the Hokage, Tsunade Senju is down after expending all her chakra healing the others. Kakashi Hatake is down after being defeated by Pain. The rest of the shinobi in the village are either too injured or too unequipped to help further. However, Hinata Hyuga finds herself stepping into the large crater, ready to defend Naruto with her life.
