Rain began to fall as you were about to leave the hotel where you were working and return home. You stopped dead in your tracks to seek shelter underneath the building.

You sighed as it only grew stronger.

A person then stood next to you. When you turned to face them, you realised that it was the owner of the hotel; his eyes fixed on the rainy streets as he stood with one hand in his pocket and his chin raised.

“Do you live far away?” Suddenly, he asked, his gaze still on the streets.
