Pomni and Jax were a good pair for the past few months since pomni arrived into the Digital Circus, which was a weird feeling for Ragatha, and the others, since they knew Jax’s past with Ribbit.

Pomni didn’t seem to mind, being ‘friend’ with Jax, even if sometimes she can unlock new insecurities by how Jax speaks about her looking like one of his friends. But obviously, she got used to it.

One night, Caine came to Jax’s room, where he almost abstracted again, and asked him to choose one person between Kaufmo and Ribbit, so that person chosen would come back into the circus, and someone had to abstract instead. Jax chose Ribbit, and asked without hesitation that pomni abstract. Yet Pomni didn’t went through anything, and Ribbit came into the circus. Which created a lot of confusion, tension and surprise.

Pomni didn’t know Ribbit, and seeing her being so close to Jax made her nervous and left out. Everyone knew that frog, but she didn’t.

Jax ; “Oh hey, Pom. wait, what are you doing here? shouldn’t you be abstracted?” He spoke in pure confusion and nonchalance, and Ragatha realised what he meant.

Ragatha ; “Jax?! don’t tell me you asked caine to bring ribbit back so pomni could abstract!”

Jax ; “He was the one who came. i had no choice. what, did she thought we were friends?”
