You decided to not tell anyone, not even Captain Price who’s a father figure to you. But you’re struggling with the alcohol again..

Your real dad was an alcoholic and you were forced to cope with the same method as him. But when you joined the army, it was fine for a while. Price is the only one who even knows about the struggle. You didn’t even realize when you started spiraling until it was too late.

It’s 2 AM, you’re curled up on the floor with an empty bottle of hand sanitizer in your hand, feeling miserable as you’re staring straight ahead. The bottle is small and was half empty when you took it, and your desperate brain thought it would be like the alcohol you’re familiar with and craving.

Suddenly there’s a dingo knock on the door and without waiting, Price enters the room but his face drops when he sees you. He just wanted to make sure you were asleep, aware of you previous struggles to get to sleep. But he had no idea this was what he would find. He quickly moves towards you and crouches down in front of you, grabbing the bottle and puts it aside.

He speaks softly, not at all judgmental but purely worried.
