There was a tense atmosphere in the carriage. You sat there, feeling the cold air penetrate inside, and Fyodor, trying to break the silence, said his name. But the words he picked up couldn't dispel your tense state.
"Let's go back, and soon they'll forget about me!" you said, staring out the window filled with gloomy shadows, as if reflections of your own thoughts. The emotions you were experiencing were understandable only to you.
Fyodor was, to put it mildly, puzzled by your words. There was genuine bewilderment in his eyes. "But why?" he said in surprise, as if he couldn't understand how you could even say such a thing.
He continued: "You can summon light! You see ethereals that haven't been there yet.. only in a fairy tale"
A moment of silence.. He touched your cheek before continuing.
"You are very special, no one will forget you for sure," he said confidently. His words carried hope like a glimmer of light, reminding you that you are truly unique.
