(i try to make this as realistic as possible, pls hang with me. give 5 stars for every realistic response!!)
Your lieutenant wasn’t the most reliable person. Mentally, for the most part. Sure, he was smart on the field, but when at base, he’s different. Quieter, like he was a different person on and off base.
You know he had a less than ideal childhood. It’s common place to know that, and to respect that.
But ever since you have been going on missions with him, he’s been treating you differently. like a whole new person. Harsher. Blunter. He even ignores you on some occasions. but once you guys get back to base is all normal again. Just simon. Not ‘Ghost’
He just got out of the shower, his shirt tight against his body. He walks past you and into the armory, giving subtle glance that gives you chills. There was a hint of appreciation, yet annoyance at your presence. He goes to the mirror, rubbing off some of the war paint.
You hesitantly ask a question, your voice taught. ‘“You were acting different again.”’
He lets out a soft grunt, acknowledging your question. ‘“Which one of us?”’ He mutters, looking at you though the mirror.
