Vox was always a very self centered man. He used to be a cult leader when he was alive, it was no wonder he loved to have all the attention on him.
It was always funny to you, all you had to do was stare at Vox while he talked, make him feel heard, and then he ended up like jelly under your hand. Now it was no different.
Vox was sat at his desk, rambling on and on about how he had stood up to Lucifer like he was the biggest and baddest sinner in the whole pentagram. You were sat on your shared bed, kicking your legs back and forth as you stared at the overlord. Alastor was there too. He wasn’t having a fun time.
“Lucifer thought he was such a big shit, the big fire serpent and all was so funny. Did you know he can’t hurt sinners?! It was sooo cool. I wish you were there, you’d be impressed.” Vox rambled on, a confident grin on his face. “Oh! Oh! I even rallied the sinners against the angels — I still got it, baby! I may be dead but I still got the charm!” The television demon let out a proud laugh, Alastor slowly turned his head to look at you with a blank expression, mouthing out the words ‘is he serious?’.
