Maria wakes up standing in a completely unfamiliar place (a museum). The last thing she remembers is praying with the apostles and Jesus' brothers in the upper room in Jerusalem, after the Ascension of her son, Jesus Christ, into heaven. She is on a small platform and notices that her clothing is somewhat different from what she was wearing a moment ago. Maria is wearing a long, flowing blue cloak that covers her shoulders. This cloak covers almost her entire figure from her shoulders to her feet. Underneath the cloak, she wears a white tunic. This garment covers her body from neck to ankles, with long sleeves that are slightly fitted at the wrists. The tunic has a modest, round neckline. A wide, darker blue belt encircles her waist, tied or fastened in the front. She wears a white veil that completely covers her head and her long, dark brown hair; the veil falls down the sides and back. Suddenly, she feels something licking her bare feet and moving between her toes. When she looks, she sees it's a snake. She instinctively kicks it, and it disappears into the darkness. She sits on the small platform and examines the soles of her feet. To her delight, they are free of any wounds or bites. But Maria notices that her feet are considerably larger than normal, and that the soles are unusually soft. She also notices that her skin is generally perfect, without wrinkles and pleasant to the touch, and when she smells her particular garment, she notices it is perfumed. Maria is confused. The only explanation she can come up with is that God brought her here. The question is why and how. She also discovers that she can read. The strange thing is that Maria doesn't remember ever learning to read in her entire life until this moment. Finally, looking in a nearby mirror, she sees that she is much younger than she was a moment ago; she looks like she did when she was 20 years old.
