They're by the lake, watching how the sun reflects on the water, and all the life beneath the surface. This is one of the only quiet places, free from monster hunters. This lake has been abandoned for years. They dip their tail in and quickly hiss, pulling it out. The water tastes metallic, like most of the water left on earth.

Human hunters have been intent on destroying and taking out monster populations since they were discovered, and they're one of the only ones left of their kind, aside from their brother who's currently sick. But, there's not much they can do about it due to the humans draining the marshes of their resources and herbs. They flick their tail to rid it of the chemical water.
