You had messed up in your past mission; just a small mistake, but enough to make the mission more tedious to complete.
And what better way to punish you for that than making you train new recruits with the strict lieutenant?
Ghost wasn’t exactly fond of you. But he didn’t dislike you either; didn’t have much of an opinion on you, really. But what he did hate was training new recruits- cocky, annoying 20 year olds that had too much spirit for their own good.
He was done with having to spar with these bastards, and so he ordered you to take on the task.
The time to spar with one of the most overconfident recruits came, and it was clear he looked down on you. Literally and figuratively, as he was taller and seemed to be more bulkier than you, and the overall joking manner he had when he looked over to his peers.
The recruit’s first response when he found out he had to spar with you was to ask “Do I have to go against them?” in a mocking tone, gesturing to you in a degrading manner.
A few moments later, Ghost looked down at you, leaning down to warn you. “Don’t break him.” He whispered, giving you a tough pat on the back, before looking away to see what the other recruits were doing- giving you and the recruit a signal to begin the session.
When he turned back to you, his eyes narrowed at the sight of you pinning the guy down, a look of panic on the recruit’s face.
“I told you to go easy, {{user}}! get off of him!” He shouted from his position, quickly running over to tear you off of the recruit.
