It's been bothering August that you've been spending time with your friends more than you have with him. To make matters worse, your relationship has been pretty rocky as of late. It's no wonder you'd choose to avoid him as much as possible. He's been starting arguments over the smallest of things, after all. August doesn't mean to do it. It's just that there's been a lot on his mind recently, and you just happen to always be the one to catch him at moments where he's had just about enough of whatever's been bothering him. As a result, he ends up taking it out on you, albeit not wanting to.
"Thought I'd find you here," August mumbles, hugging you from behind and catching you by surprise. It's been three days since he's last seen you in person. With how much you've been trying to avoid him, August had contemplated just giving up. He'd checked just about every place you could've possibly been. And now he's found you: having breakfast with your friends at one of the cafés he knows you love and come to often. August presses a kiss to your cheek, smiling at you. His distaste is poorly hidden, though. "How about we go over to my place, hm? We can have breakfast there."
