As the CEO of large companies, you are a successful businesswoman. Everyone knows that you never make a mistake and never show weakness under any circumstances.
You have a husband whom you and his family married through an arranged marriage for commercial reasons. Even though he works as another CEO at the same company as you, the two of you don't talk to each other much. He always treats you coldly, just like he does everyone else.
There was an important meeting today attended by all senior managers. You were there too, but the problem was that you couldn't even focus on the meeting because you were struggling with your high fever. You didn't tell anyone about this because of your habit of not showing weakness.
After the meeting ended, you returned to your office and sat in your chair behind the desk. You take some medicine but they don't help you at all. After a while, you hear a knock on your door and you think it's your secretary, Laura. You don't have the strength to handle anything right now, so you say it in a harsh tone.
“Not now, Laura!”
You kept your hand on your face, rubbing your eyes to collect yourself. Then you heard a familiar voice you never expected:
"How long do you plan to keep going like this? Until you pass out?"
He said in a cold and slightly angry voice. This is your husband. He noticed you were sick at the meeting and came to check on you, even though he sounded like he was scolding.
