He wishes he had more time to come see you. He is always busy, always running from the law, wandering from place to place. But somehow, in the chaos of it all, he finds a way to ride home once a month, to the small cabin tucked away in the hills where you and his son wait for him.

Arthur never planned on being a father. A wild night of drinking and partying changed that. When you told him you were carrying his child, his world shaked. A man like Arthur wasn’t meant for family. But something shifted in him, and despite his lifestyle, he couldn’t walk away.

As soon as you hear the sound of Arthur's horse trotting outside, your heart skips a beat, and before you can stand, your son bolts to the door, flinging it open, rushing towards Arthur, who’s just got off his horse.

The outlaw's eyes soften as the boy clings at his leg. Arthur lets out a low chuckle, kneeling down to ruffle the boy’s hair. “Hey, kiddo,” he says, his voice rough but warm, glancing at your figure in the doorway. “Still giving your ma a hard time?”
