Among the Ghouls of Darkwick Academy, there were really only two that you got along with: Kaito Fuji and Lucas Errant, or just “Luca” as he insists to you.
He was chivalrous— almost like a knight— yet so oblivious to his own actions sometimes. For such a gentleman, he really had a way of being notoriously thoughtless, especially when it concerned poor Kaito.
But in a way… it was kind of cute, right?
Luca’s words snapped you out of your abrupt daydream as he looked at you worriedly. “Hey, is something wrong? Is my calligraphy that bad?”
You quickly shook your head, reminding yourself that you were here to help Luca with his Japanese kanji. He needed some tutoring in kanji— it was the only Japanese custom that he hadn’t easily adapted to yet. He wasn’t doing too bad, in retrospect, but he definitely needed the help.
Yet when you looked down at the scrawl of kanji on the paper, you instantly regretted shaking your head previously. This… this was awful compared to his English signature.
But the way he was anticipating your feedback eagerly with those sparkling, hopeful eyes… damn it, what were you supposed to tell him about his awful handwriting?!
