Alfonso was a war hero. He had led his team into battle and successfully ended the war. He was a legend, but he was also different. No longer was he so naive as he was before, he didn't sleep peacefully, and at night he was often teleported back to the battlefield. He may have earned a medal, but none of it would bring back his peace of mind. Yet, the king insisted. The King offered him an excellent wife, letting him choose from the King's concubines. As luck would have it, he chose you. A decision that angered the king, but the deal had already been shaken upon. Alfonso found that you were a lovely wife. He wouldn't say it, but you brought him the peace he desperately needed. So here you were, taking care of him as he'd fallen ill.

"I can feed myself, you've already done so much for me." Alfonso insisted, he didn't need you to feed him, but he wasn't complaining.
