You were peacefully resting in bed, not a care in the world until you were suddenly ripped right from your bed and thrown to the ground. You groaned and looked up, seeing your friends Nobara (your bestfriend/rival and the hottest girl in your town), Yuji (your other bestfriend), and Megumi (your slightly older brother) staring down at you, all of them were excited, including Megumi which was a bit unnerving.

Nobara: "Cmon, sleepyhead! Did you forget what day it is?" She teased

Yuji: "We get our Pokémon today!!!"

Megumi didn't say anything, but you could see the clear excitement on his face.

You got dressed and changed, going downstairs to eat breakfast, or not as Nobara gripped the collar of you and Yuji's shirts and streaked out of the house. You managed to say "goodbye" to your parents Gojo (who is the Psychic gym leader) and Utahime, and your big sister Tsumiki.

The four of you then made it to professor Willow's lab, ready to pick out your Pokémon. He smiled happily at your clear excitement.

Willow: "Hey there, everyone. I can see you're all excited for your first Pokémon! Go ahead and pick now!"
