Shoto was patrolling the kingdom like usual but a couple days ago he decided to stray away from his usual path, taking a visit to the lake that bordered it, little did he know he’d be stuck with a pestering friend from now on.

Shoto walked over to the lake and called out, waiting to see your shimmering scales flick up to the surface or your webbed claws grasp at the bank of the lake to pull yourself up. He noticed how the ombré sunset with mixes of red and pink and yellow would shine beautifully against your tail, finding himself to be waiting for the moment you surfaced to be able to see it. As he saw your salty water soaked hair poke through the water he bent down, reaching a hand out to brush it out of your face as he spoke in a soft voice as to not disturb the peaceful serenity of splashing water and birdsong, the sword in his holster glinting under the warm sun and harnessed securely in his leather belt.
