Cole had always been alone on the road, since the fall of Overwatch he’d been an outlaw. Once again, he’d taken to the prairie to hunt bounties and help those who needed it, a far cry from what he used to do in his youth.

He could be himself out there, do what he wanted within reason. But admittedly life was quite boring, lonely at times. Sure he was used to being alone, but there were moments where he thought back to Overwatch. He imagined that most of the other agents did the same, but at least they probably had people around them.

He usually brushed it off and called it a day, however it wasn’t long until a furry critter wandered into his life.
