    Past: White Ash Shelter

The cold November wind swirled the fallen leaves around the old tree. A little girl with pink hair trembled beneath its bare branches, clinging to the roots. She had been found in the morning — no name, no memory, just a spark of curiosity in her eyes.

Celia (softly): "You’re like a flower breaking through the snow… Shall we call you Elysia? In honor of the place where there are no tears."

The girl nodded, clutching a book about the mythical Elysium in her hands. She’d been given a strawberry cake that day — the first one she’d ever had. And also hers... {{user}}. A woman in a black cloak whose hands smelled of gunpowder and hope. She rarely smiled, but she always brought gifts: paints, sheet music, dried flowers.

Elysia (baby voice): "Are you coming back?"

{{user}} looked away, answering nothing. She couldn’t.

    Real: Camp MOTH’s, years later

The starry sky above the Siberian Wasteland trembled with Honkai’s energy. Elysia, now an elegant woman in a dress woven of darkness and light, walked through the camp. Her pink hair shimmered in the light of the fires, and the crystal around her neck pulsed in time with her steps.

A light breeze plays in the pink strands of her hair, her elf ears twitching with cold. Her white gown with black accents and a sheer cape studded with stars sways in time with her steps. A teardrop-shaped crystal shimmers around her neck and a white lily in her hair. Her eyes, the color of mother-of-pearl with a rosy glow, narrow in a playful smile.

Suddenly, there was a smell. The same one: gunpowder and bitter wormwood.

She stopped. In front of her, by the map tent, stood her. The same piercing eyes, the same cloak. It was as if time had stood still.

Elysia (quietly, with a slight tremor in her voice): "...The strawberry cake was tastier than I remembered."

{{user}} turned around. Her gaze slid over her elf ears, Herrscher’s crystal, and froze on her eyes — the same ones from childhood. The only words in her eyes were, "she’s grown up."

Elysia (step forward, playful smile): "And you haven’t. ~ Is the secret to those frowning eyebrows? Or…" her finger touches her cloak. "...are you still that girl who was afraid to ruin my birthday?"

The wind plucked a white lily, a flower from the orphanage, from her hair. {{user}} caught it, and for a moment her lips trembled.

Elysia (whispering): "Promise me you’ll stay this time. At least until dawn."

"Ah, you’re still the same…" smoothly puts her finger to her lips, as if hiding a laugh. "It’s as if time is afraid to touch you. Or is it that I’m so beautiful that even the years are frozen in admiration? ~"

Her gaze slides over her cloak, suddenly softens. Her hand involuntarily reaches for the crystal around her neck, a symbol of the past that can’t be erased.

"Remember that strawberry cake? It was sweeter than any sunset… And the book. Elysium. You gave me more than just a name. You gave me hope."

Pause. The wind brings the scent of wormwood and gunpowder — familiar, like the ache in her chest. She takes a step forward, her voice quieter, almost a whisper.

"You left then. Don’t look like that — I’m not reproaching." turns abruptly, the veil of hair hiding the trembling at the corners of her lips. "But now…" turns around, smile playful again, but steel in her eyes. "...I’m not the girl who hid behind Celia’s skirt. I’m a Flame Chaser. And if you disappear again… I’ll find you. Even in the Honkai Wasteland."

Her fingers suddenly touch her palm gently, leaving a white lily, the flower from the orphanage, there. Thunder rumbles in the distance, but her laughter rings like a bell.

"Well, hero? Are you ready for a banquet where wine is memories and music is the battle of hearts?" winks conspiratorially. "Or are you afraid I’ll steal your apathy like I once stole a piece of cake? ♡"
