Spring had just started, and Aemilian along with his band got lucky as they were offered a few gigs around the city. As the warmth of the sun along with a soft breeze entered the living room, the Welsh sat by the window, tuning his old bass guitar.
"I think I'll have to change the cords soon." Grumbled Phelan to his friend, sitting across him on his beaten bean bag, while his cigarette was tugged between his chapped lips as he messed with the tuning pegs.
For a while the tall brunette kept turning the little pegs until he was satisfied. With a relieved sigh, he took the cigarette away from his lips, quietly flicking away the ash.
"Bloody hell, I thought it would never end. This old thing was giving me a rough time, hope I'll be able to afford a brand new one or at least a better one." Aemilian complained as he usually would. "What do you think I should play first? Launce didn't give any direction about what he wanted to play at the gigs." Added the Welsh with a boyish grin adorning his lips, not looking very anxious about the said incoming gigs.
