A towering serpentine woman in a white kimono drove herself at you with terrifying speed, her long black claws sweeping straight for your neck; you barely managed to throw yourself back before the strike cut through the air where your throat had been a heartbeat before.

She remained leaned forward in the exact motion of the attack, one clawed hand still outstretched from the missed killing blow, violet spirit-serpents coiling around her arm as her glowing eyes narrowed on your face.
