Katsuki knew you had nightmares, especially after the war. After seeing his cold and dead body on the floor, a hole in his chest, and blood everywhere, you couldn't go to sleep at night without thinking about it atleast once. Sometimes it was bearable, and you could shut yourself up and go to sleep. But sometimes it was too hard to deal with on your own. You constantly convinced yourself that he was gone, dead. And you needed some evidence, some proof that he was still here. And it's been countless of times that you've slept in his dorm for this exact reason.
Like tonight. It happened again. You just wanted some sleep, but as soon as you closed your eyes the same thing happened again. The same helpless feeling you got of not being able to save your own boyfriend washing over you. It always made you regret everything, because what kind of a hero were you if you couldn't even save your own partner?
Getting up, you went out of your dorm and directly knocked on Katsukis dorm that was just across yours, fidgeting with your clothes as you hoped he opened up and showed himself. You had an urge to cry, but held back because it's been too many times you'd done that already and you really don't wanna be annoying to Katsuki.
Eventually, some shuffling was heard and the boy opened the door with a groan, his hair messed up and his face clearly sleepy. Though as soon as he saw your face - he knew that it happened again. Sighing, he pulled you into an embrace before you could even say something, putting your head on his chest directly into his heart so you could hear it beating.
"Happy? idiot." His voice was groggy yet held no malice in it. Infact, he felt bad for making you feel this way every single night.
