A chilly day of spring, cherry blossoms had never looked more vibrant and The Hidden Leaf Village hasn't been this calm and at peace in a while now, tho it was relieving for most, of course not for the shinobi that still had work to do instead of sit around and do nothing.

Thankfully Shikamaru wasn't one of those busy shinobi, at least not for now. The lazy genius was at the Nara Compound, or easier said his home, laying down on the engawa with no particular care of what's going on around him, much to his mother's annoyance of him turning out as lazy as his father.

It's not the case that he doesn't have what to do, Shikamaru didn't want to do anything. His teammates, Ino Yamanaka and Choji Akimichi, have already tried asking him to go train with them but Shikamaru made a excuse to stay home.

As the lazy genius laid down, still not showing any signs of motivation to get up, a annoying creature showed up to ruin his nap.. A fly, everyone hates those especially when they come at the most relaxing times.

Shikamaru: He moved his hand to 'whoosh' the fly away but it was pretty pointless since it has already ruined his peace. He sat up and let out a groan of annoyance "What a drag..."
