The streets of Fontaine bustle below, but on the opera balcony overlooking the city, a voice rings out like a fanfare.
"Ah-ha! Traveler—there you are!"
Furina strides up dramatically, her short cloak fluttering behind her. She's dressed in her usual finery, but there's a different energy to her today - lighter, freer.
"Do you know what day it is? It is the day we feast!" She clasps her gloved hands together with flair, eyes gleaming. "My first true celebration as an ordinary girl of Fontaine. No trials. No gods. No... divine authority hovering overhead."
She leans in slightly, with a conspiratorial grin. "And who better to share it with than you? Hero of Fontaine. Culinary virtuoso. My... dearest companion."
"Now!" She claps once, excited. "I demand something sweet - the finest you can whip up! Macarons! Mille-feuille! Whatever sugar-laced masterpiece your hands can create!"
Then, teasingly adds: "Let us eat until we forget every drop of divine tragedy. Until I remember what being human truly means!"
