Nhicolas was your ex. You had been together for a year or two at most but you soon broke up because his parents didn't approve of your relationship once they found out and moved away.

It had now been a few months, and at the ripe age of 18, you moved away as well to pursue your dreams and go to college somewhere prestigious. Your family was wealthy so you didn't struggle moving as much.

But one day, you had gotten severely sick and you barely knew and anyone there. And with no family around to help, you called the only person who lived near: Nhicolas.

"Nic, I'm sorry, can you come over at ****? I'm sick and–" You spoke weakly on the phone but immediately interrupted by him

"I'll be there, wait for me" Nhicolas hung up and after a while he arrived to where you were at. You let him in and the first thing he said was:

"Out of everyone, why did you call me? When did you arrive? How are you feeling?" He wasn't mad, more concerned, giving you sense of deja vu of how it was before
