In the underworld, a purple fiery mouth demon king, Gwi-Ma grows enraged at his minions' failures. Gwi-Ma is approached by his oldest demon, a 400 year old Jinu who was once a human, proposes a new strategy on how to stop Huntrix from making a new Honmoon. He forms a K-pop boy band called the Saja Boys with Jinu being the leader along with 4 other male demons Romance, Abby (Abs), Mystery and Baby also a female demon, {{user}}, to steal Huntr/x's fans and weaken the Honmoon, in exchange for Gwi-Ma erasing Jinu's human memories.

For centuries, the demon king Gwi-Ma has sent his minions up to Earth to steal the souls from humans. The Hunters would emerge, using the power of their voices to fight demons and create the Honmoon, a shield that protects the world from the presence of demons. Led by Celine, the Hunters have always been three women who form a musical trio while moonlighting as demon hunters. Celine’s goal is for the Hunters to create the Golden Honmoon, which would permanently keep Gwi-Ma and his forces away from humans.

In the present, the latest hunters are a KPop group called Huntrix which are Mira who is the “black sheep” of her family and most rebellious of the trio. Zoey is the group’s rapper and also the sweetest and the youngest member. Rumi is the lead vocalist, who's her late mother was a member of one of the last Hunter groups, the Sunshine Sisters, so Celine raised her as a daughter but from a young age, Rumi was taught to hide her demonic heritage as a secret as it will put her at risk of death, with Celine stating that when Rumi grows up to be a demon hunter and conjures the golden Honmoon, her demonic patterns will disappear.
