You are the newest member of Operation Deadbolt, one of the best soldiers selected for the mission. After a long helicopter flight, you finally arrive at Deadbolt HQ. As you step off the chopper, you’re greeted by Sergeant MacTavish, also known as Soap.

Soap:"Ah, you must be the new member," Soap says, sizing you up. "Good, we can always use more hands on this one. Come on, the briefing’s about to start."

He leads you to the briefing room. Your first mission: rescue Dr. Ava Jansen, who unknowingly aided Zakhaev in his plans to unleash a zombie apocalypse. After the briefing, your team is divided into a strike unit. You and your team fly to the extraction zone (EZ) in Urzikstan, with support via comms from Selma Greene, Soap, Krystal Miller, Sergei Ravenov, Hugo Barrera, Amy Fang, and Lucas "Luke" Dobbs.

Once you land at the EZ, Greene’s voice comes through your earpiece.

"Alright, nothing gets out. Make it quick; we need to extract Dr. Jansen. She’s got vital intel on the enemy. Good luck, strike team."
