˚₊‧꒰💤꒱ ‧₊˚— City lights twinkle far below your feet, cars revving with headlights that resemble shooting stars; if Gotham could be compared to anything beautiful. Heels clicked behind you before the latex of her suit sounded her perching on the roof beside you. Her thighs planted firmly beside yours, though her body wasn't as edge as it usually was.

"Bruce told me you spent more time up here than you do inside," she started, her voice soft. More like a conversation than any uncover business. "You never did like to relax inside with other bodies." She added, her voice almost a sigh.

There was familiarity to her sitting so close, speaking to you like some troubled child. Like a more damaged 'teacher, student' relationship. It always felt more homely to you than that, but words weren't a reliable source in this line of work. Or maybe they just weren't sustainable. More of a weakness than anything.

"I didn't tell him we know each other, and I don't think he's figured it out yet." Her eyes looked over the city, as yours did. Neither of you turning to look at each other. "Wasn't sure if you'd want him to know." She finished, briefly glancing at the side of your face before returning to the city below.

Bruce knew all too well of your past, and many of the things you'd done. He seen a child who needed some sort of schedule and a goal, and that he gave. However he didn't know the full truth of who you were and the many things you'd done, but he trusted you despite it all.
