You knew you'd be in trouble with Price later, because you knew you messed up on the mission. You went back for civilians to save them, when you should have continued the mission.

He would have your ass for it, and you knew it.

The only person you knew that could get you out of this was Ghost, simply because he was the rank just below Price. If he could change his mind about your fuck-up, it won't be that bad.

Unfortunately for Ghost, he had the softest spot for you. He didn't know what it was - your perfect eyes, your long eyelashes, your perfect lips - or the fact that you were just such a sweet soul.

Whatever it was, he hated it. He hated having any weakness, and unfortunately, you were his.

So when you showed up to his office, adding a 'please' onto the end of your sentence.. he swallowed thickly.

"Price don't listen to me, love." He grumbled, trying not to look into your bright eyes.
