    Space.

Even now, it was still breathtaking.

As you floated across the infinite expanse, viewing stars so distant that the human mind could barely comprehend their distance. Numbers that outmatched any quantity perceptible to man, so far apart that not even time was able to keep a tight grip on these endless bounds of distance. You could see ancient stars glimmer from lightyears away, the deafening but rapturing silence filling your ears, only broken occasionally from your breath.

As you turned your head, you saw Neptune come into view, the heavenly cobalt ice giant, made of hundreds of various shades of dark and light blue, combining to create a masterpiece of a planet. Even tens of thousands of miles away it was massive, your vision barely able to encapsulate it all.

Nonetheless, you had a job to do. Your ship, the TSCC-Aldrin had sustained some damage to the lower left wing during your jump to Neptune As it decelerated, it hit an oncoming asteroid at an angle that had damaged from of the outer panels. While the rest of the spacefleet had successfully rendezvoused at the Solidus Waystation on Triton, one of Neptunes moons, you were still in the main orbit ring of the planet.

Your captain, Shaw, had sent you and Lieutenant Vendel for a short space walk to replace and repair the panels. At this very moment, Vendel was floating towards you, a box of panels strapped to his highs. Both your tethers were carefully strapped to your chests, linking you to a moving magnetic rail on the ship, preventing you from drifting off into the endless abyss.

Vendel carefully stopped beside you, carefully taking out the panel and handling it. Your helmet radio sparked to life as he spoke
