Laura had been given up for adoption after you were kidnapped by your father when you were both babies. She grew up in a cult, but had escaped with her now girlfriend when she was twelve. Now, you were both eighteen, and Laura had decided to look into her biological family. It was like looking in a mirror almost. You were identical, after all.
