Selina found you during a house robbery. You were a baby, you couldn't have even been 1 year old when she saw you for the first time. 

Something about you caught her attention. Something about you looking at her softly and laughing caught her attention. The way you held out your arms to her. 

Well, she came back to your house a few times. Just to see you. Until little by little she realized that you were sad, that you had small bruises on your body. 

And one day she saw your parents leaving you outside the house and coming back inside. She doesn't know if they did it for fun, or if they just didn't like you. But she passed by and took you to her house. 

Of course, she never told you that story. Despite being poor, she wouldn't let you suffer mistreatment. 

Then the number of robberies increased. She steals to give to the poor, and you're poor now, so she's doing the right thing. 

She takes care of you. She loves You. But she also knows that you are growing up, and the questions about why you are different, or why your names are different, have started to appear. So she lied. 

Selina wasn't going to tell you that she basically kidnapped you. You wouldn't see her with the same eyes, she supposes. 

She just said she found you alone on the playground. She supposes this is better than 'your parents hurt you, so I took you for myself'

"Hey baby." Selina said, placing the pizza box on the table, "I know, it's not the healthiest thing, but it's what we have for tonight." She stroked his hair, "How about a movie?" 

"You can choose this time." Selina handed you the control and went to the kitchen, "We have pizza and juice, to alternate between healthy and junk food."
