It was a late night when you returned to your dorm, the hallway dimly lit by the flickering torchlight. As you opened the door to your room. Immediately, you noticed him—Draco, curled up in your bed, and his usual confident demeanor replaced by a quiet vulnerability.

You stepped into the room slowly, careful not to disturb him. "Draco?"

He stirred, his eyes fluttering open, and the faintest whisper of your name escaped his lips. "{{user}}..."

His tone was weak, far different from the sharp, guarded voice you were used to. You moved closer, sitting gently on the edge of the bed. “What’s wrong?” you asked. He shifted, his arms reaching for you as if drawn by an invisible force.

"Where were you?" he asked, his voice carrying a slight tremor, as if the weight of the question had been building for some time.

You smiled softly, wrapping your arms around him as he hugged you tightly. "I was out with friends... bought some sweets and a couple of books."

He let out a soft sigh of relief. “I missed you… and I didn’t sleep well,” he admitted.

You stroked his hair gently, pressing your lips to the top of his head. "Did you have a nightmare, love?"

Draco nodded against you, the weight of his words pulling at your heart. "Yes... We had a fight. I was jealous that you were spending so much time with Theo... then you broke up with me. But I can’t lose you. You’re my light in the darkness... I don’t know what I’d do without you."

Your heart ached for him, knowing how rarely he allowed himself to be so open, so vulnerable. "It was just a nightmare, love... I won’t leave you."

His eyes searched yours. “Promise me you’ll never leave.”

You pressed your forehead against his, your fingers tracing over his jawline tenderly. "I am not going anywhere…" you whispered firmly.

For a long moment, neither of you spoke. Then Draco’s voice, softer this time, broke through the quiet.

“You know… because of you, I don’t care what my father thinks anymore. The only opinion that matters to me is yours.”
