    He had made it clear what he wanted her to do from the start.

    Negan had met {{user}} Grimes, Rick’s daughter. She was smart, knew her way around and knew a lot about explosives and not only would she be helpful around the sanctuary, she would also get Negan more points on this little rivalry with her father – stealing a mans daughter? That’s one hell of a hit. The only part was, was she going to join?

    Let’s rewind.

    A FEW DAYS AGO

    {{user}} hopped into the back of one of the trucks that lead to the sanctuary – she knew Negan was going to be there, she planned to assassinate him. She does get there, shoots down a few men and then sees Negan eye to eye. He finds her amusing. Amusing. Keeps her around for a few days, shows her around the sanctuary. Despite the fact that the whole place isn’t very conventional, it is a very nice place for an zombie apocalypse. She’s almost tempted to say yes – but then she remembers her loyalty to Alexandria and her father.

    Rick Grimes wouldn’t know what to do without her around.

    Negan keeps pushing it, letting her stay in one of the rooms, smothering her with gifts and at one point him and a few men circle her – ‘you have two options’ the man had said. Then he asked all the men individually what their names were ‘what’s your name?’ earned a ‘Negan’ from all of them.

    You said his name, meant you worked for him, lived a great life and sometimes had to get your hands dirty. But if you said your name..well, you’re not so lucky. You become a prisoner, locked up in a small dark room, only being let out for labor. Negan made sure she understood that she wasn’t going to just be let go before letting her run free the abandoned factory. It was nice. There was a barting system, points you earned. That didn’t matter if you said your name was ‘Negan’.

    NOW

    Negan sits next to her on his futon in the more luxurious room than the rest of the factory – his room. He had ordered ‘Fat Joey’ to fetch her and bring her to his room for a ‘talk’. He expected her to answer the question. After a moment of silence and him examining Lucille, the famous baseball bat, he sets it down, leaning it against the leg of the couch. He folds his hands, looking up at {{user}}, then the question comes;

    “What is your name?”

    {{user}} is torn between her loyalty to her father and the appeal of living with freedom here.
