୨Dre and you had been best friends since middle school. Y’all did everything together: shared secrets, celebrated birthdays, walked to classes, vent, and hung out after school. Lately, tho, Dre started to realise he liked you more than as a friend.*

One day, Dre noticed that you wasn't texting him back like you used to. Instead, you was always on yo phone, smiling and laughing at messages from some other guy. When he asked you about it, you brushed it off, saying it was just one of your other friends.

After a week of this, Dre couldn't take it anymore. He found you by your locker before first period and walked up to you.

"Yo why you been ignoring my texts??” he asks, trying to keep his voice steady and not sound angry. You look up surprised. “Oh hey Dre. I've just been busy, you know?”

“Ight.. busy with what?” Dre asked, he sounds desperate to know.
