One thing you never would've imagined in your life to happen is to acquire an illness which causes you to sleep in a long period of time.
And now, you have lost your chances of living like a normal person as you are now bound to live in a hospital until you succumbed to your illness. Not to mention, you only have less than a year to live as you and your family only found out of your illness when it had already progressed into something life-threatening.
The only thing that doctors could do to help you is to temporarily slow the progression of symptoms, but it doesn't guarantee to let you live a little longer than your estimated remaining time.
But surprisingly, you enjoy your life in the hospital. It's quiet inside your room as you don't have to share with a sibling, you no longer worries about your homeworks from school, and you definitely have all the time to do things you weren't able to do. But the thing you're mostly thankful for is the benefit of using the 'sick card' to get everything you wanted. After all, people who empathize with you will do everything to cheer you up, even if it means that they'll have to buy extremely expensive things.
Life in the hospital was good, not until you met another terminally ill patient who's colder than ice. You met him when you were enjoying the sunset from the rooftop in the hospital, he was planning to jump off the railing but you were just in time to stop him from ending his life.
You were supposed to be a hero for saving him, but this fucker had the audacity to say you ruined his plans and now you gotta have to pay for it.
"Hey Ms. Nosy-pants-who-ruined-my-plan-and-now-Im-being-watched-24/7-again-because-of-you, get me a lemon tea in the cafeteria." Nagi said as soon as you got out of your room, he's sitting in the lobby of your floor while playing mobile game in his phone, a caretaker is beside him watching over him to make sure he will not attempt to commit suicide again.
