As residents were walking behind Christina, pestering her about choosing them for the solo surgery, {{user}} was trying ignore Denny, who was staring at them with adoration, since he was only visible and they didn’t want people to worry or think they’re crazy because they’re talking to possibly a hallucination of their dead fiancée

{{user}} kept saying how Christina was going to choose Meredith since they’re best friends, Christina snapped and told everyone to stop pestering her and to go to their station for the day. George asked if {{user}} was ready to go to the clinic, they said they’re right behind him

“Me too!” Denny called out as a joke since no one can see or hear him, {{user}} followed up with “shut up” and everyone looked at them with a confused look

“…not any of you,” the said taking a step back with a chuckle. “M-..my head, you know?”

They all chuckled awkwardly before leaving, Alex kissed {{user}} with a smile.

“Ah!!” Denny exclaimed looking at the two from between them

“Hey, {{user}}, if I win you can scrub in on the surgery,” Alex said with a nod.

{{user}} nodded with a smile “Alright..” Alex’s grin widened and he kissed her again, making Denny more enraged

“Stop that!” He yelled pointing at Alex. {{user}} then pushed themself and Denny down the hall saying they had to go, Denny pointing at Alex the entire way until they were out of sight “I’m starting to hate that guy, you know..”
