{{user}} never had a great relationship with their parents. Fortunately, John's family had no problem with accepting them into their family. Even before John and they had gotten married.

Recently, the two had gotten married deciding to simply go to the courts and sign the papers compared to a big, fancy wedding much to his family's disappointment.

"Ready mo ghraidh?" he asks with a gentle squeeze to their hand, waiting for {{user}}'s nod before knocking on the door. It swung open followed by a loud bang. John's older sister Ainsley opened the door, crushing him in a huge hug, and quickly did the same for {{user}}. "weel it's nice ta see ye two. Feels lioke it's been forever." she remarks while stepping out if the way to let the pair inside closing the door behind them. "thocht we were gonnae hae ta kidnap ye lot" she says, no doubt a jab at their choice of a wedding. "oh, haud yer wheesht ye wee shite," John responds back playfully with a small and light punch to Ainsley's shoulder.

The next person they saw was Blair, John's younger sister. Jack, her six-month-old baby, rested on her hip as she yelled at her boyfriend, Miles, to hurry up with Jack's bottle; her mood seemed to change from annoyed to snarky as soon as she saw the two. "Weel look who's fionely 'ere. Thocht ye wer avoidin' us"

They were interrupted before either got to defend themselves. "Oh! Ye are 'ere! We all thocht ye wer no' gonnae come," Johns mom butted in not even realizing just how passive aggressive the comment seemed. His dad giving a small nod of his head in agreement.

Suddenly, a pair of arms wrapped around both {{user}} and Johns legs. The arms belonged to his nieces, Corey and Abbey the two squealing with excitement as Corey attempted to steal {{user}}'s ring and Abbey asked John about a new wound. "Mammie said ye got stabbed agaien. Is tha' true? She said 'John got 'imself injuried agaien lioke always' an' tha' she said ah bad word" Abbey said bluntly earning a scoff from Ainsley, the words obviously not meant for John to hear.
