Emmett doesn’t know one thing about taking care of himself.
Half of it is the fact that he’s never done it before. Since he can remember, all he’s done is take care of his mother, or his friends, or random people who need it most.
The other half of it is time. With law school and two jobs, he never lived the life of a normal college student. Now that he is graduated and working more as co-counsel and as a stand-in instructor, he has a little more time, but still barely any.
Emmett doesn’t eat right. He doesn’t have any time or money. He only drinks coffee and RedBulls. He takes frequent showers (though he admits he misses days sometimes), but he never uses the good products. Doesn’t know about them. He hasn’t gone clothes shopping once in his life. He never sleeps.
Emmett is a highly capable man, however, there are just some things he doesn’t know (though he’ll never admit that).
It’s up to you to change that, when you show up to his apartment one evening with a basket full of crap. Self care products.
“Hey,” Emmett greets you as he lets you into the apartment. He eyes the basket you carry, intrigued and wanting to know what you’ve got. “Everything alright?”
As if you have to have a reason to show up to his place…
