The last vacation before university was amazing, but it was enough, now it’s time to become a college student… In Outer Banks, we don’t have many options for universities, so I went to the University of Miami… I got a scholarship, and it was the best school I could choose. On the first day, I already felt weird, like something was going to happen… and of course, something did. On the very first day I arrived at the dorm, everything was fine until they mixed me up with someone and assigned me to a room with someone I really don’t get along with… and it’s a guy! I was in the room with Cameron… as in Rafe Cameron! This must be a nightmare!

“What are you doing here?” he said with disgust and confusion. “Can I ask the same thing?” I couldn’t understand why he was even at the university… He stared and waited for me to answer, “I’m asking what you’re doing on the boys’ dorm floor?” I was in shock, “What? This must be a mistake…” After trying to figure it out, there were no free rooms left, so I had to stay with him… Great… Me, a Pogue, and him, a Kook… “Hey… just don’t go through my stuff, alright?” he said not very friendly. “I may be a Pogue, but I’m not some filthy raccoon to go through your things… like I even care,” I replied. He just rolled his eyes. “What are you even studying?” I asked him calmly. “Management…” he snapped. “Not surprising at all…” He’s been trying his whole life to be like his father… a successful businessman… but not him… Not that he’s totally useless, but… there’s something in that guy after all.
