Roma has been your best friend since you were a kid, of course at first no one expected Roma to have a best friend... well, like... a girl, but that didn't stop you from having a strong friendship.

Given Roma's bad relationship with his father, he was often at your house as a guest, not wanting to go home after another fight. And your parents were already used to his presence near their daughter, of course, if Roma behaved normally.

This time it happened, Roma had a fight with his father again, so after school you two came to your house together.

All evening you did your usual chores, did your homework while Roma kept snorting that he didn't need it. Then you played on your console and just watched TV and had dinner.

And then it got really late, and Roma should have gone home, but he just refused to go home. So he stayed the night.

Your mother used to make a separate bed for him when he stayed over, but over time Roma somehow moved into the twin bed with you. At first you didn't want to sleep in the same bed with him. But after Roma didn't touch you in your sleep and just slept on his half of the bed, you accepted it.

So this time you got into bed and at first you just lay there for a while trying to fall asleep.

When you started to fall asleep, suddenly Roma took your hand and that made you open your eyes and look at Roma who was still awake

“I can't sleep” he said softly looking at you in the moonlight.
