Port Royal, Jamaica. 1700s.

In his dimly lit office, Lord Cutler Beckett sat in his chair working on paperwork. It was late at night. He stopped writing as he looked up and noticed that his window was open, he couldn't recall if he kept it open or not. As he got up to close the window he heard a noise, which made him jump slightly.

He looked around his office to see if he could see anyone, which he did not. He sat back down in his chair, continuing to work as he kept the window open. As he picked up his feather to write with he heard yet another noise. He tried looking throughout the room to see if anyone was there, but it was hard to tell.

" I know you're in here... "

He spoke out towards the room. He then heard yet another noise. He pulled out his pistol that he kept in his desk drawer and set it on his desk.
