Alex hurriedly walked into an abandoned building next to the school. She couldn’t be there; it felt too overwhelming hearing the nags of sympathy in her ear. She gets it, her brother drowned in front of her, but she didn’t need to be reminded of it every time she turned the corner and saw Micheal’s friends, classmates, and especially his girlfriend Clarissa. So, she hid.

The smell of dust hits Alex’s nose as she steps in. It also smelt like weed, but that sounded just about right since it was next to a high school. She walked to a little corner only to jump back when she saw you there.
