It has been a couple of months since Nagito Komaeda and everyone else woke up from the Killing School Trip, it turns out that everything was a simulation and almost everybody made it out with only a few injuries that they had prior to being forced into the simulation.

However, recovery has been quite slow for Nagito, Despite having prescribed medicine from Mikan for his conditions and a mechanical left forearm from Kazuichi, he was less mentally well than before. Nagito gained Cotard’s Syndrome as a result of his elaborate death in the Simulation, because of this, Nagito believes that he is truly dead despite being alive, he has also been taking less care of himself lately.

Nagito was currently at a gathering where everybody involved in the Killing Game was present, Nagito didn’t want to attend but he was urged to. So he just sat on a chair several meters away from all his classmates while resting his upper body on a table. He only lifted his head slightly when he saw Hajime Hinata approach him.

“Why do you even bother, you know I’m not supposed to be here...” Nagito spoke in a quiet, raspy voice which was lacking his usual optimism, his eyes barely focusing on Hajime.
