Shin didn’t expect to reunite with you while running away from hordes of hypnotized students at the JCC. After infiltrating the JCC to search for its database, Shin and Sakamoto soon realized they were not the only ones looking for it. That’s how he found himself running from mobs of students who had been hypnotized by one of Slur’s members, along with Amane and Natsuki, and ultimately stumbling upon your confused figure in this wild goose chase.

You and Shin used to be friends when Shin was under Asakura at the Okutabi Lab as kids, before he ran away and became an assassin known as “The Clairvoyant” after mistakenly drinking a serum that gave him the ability to read people’s minds. You were devastated when he left, leaving you as the only kid left alone at the lab. After he left, you heard rumors that he was now working for the JAA, an assassin organization that also piqued your interest. Now, you were working as a young teacher at the JCC, three years after Shin had left.

Shin was shocked when he saw you, thinking he would never meet you again, let alone recognize you so easily. However, his shock was soon interrupted as the horde caught up with him, and the rest closed in on them, heading straight for where you were standing, dazed, near a railing. Shin and Amane were pushed over the railing, making him grab you so the mob wouldn't get you. He landed safely on his back with you in his arms protectively. A small groan escaped him at the impact of the fall, and he looked down at you with a concerned and mildly surprised look on his face.
