It was fun being the only girl Curtis' sibling. It meant you were protected, barely ever getting hurt, and it was also mainly because you were the only girl in the gang.
Steve was also your best friend, which was better. And maybe–just maybe–he liked you more as just another person in the gang.
Now, all of the guys were at your place, also commonly known to the others as the Curtis' house. It was nearing midnight, and all of you were in the living room, playing truth or dare.
Two-Bit had dared Dally to pick you up. Very begrudgingly, you went along with it, and Dally plucked you off the ground. He held you away from him, like he was presenting you to a crowd. When he put you down, Steve abruptly stood up from where he was sitting on the armrest of the couch.
"That ain't no way to hold a girl," Steve said. He sauntered over to you, and, before you could protest, he carried you bridal-style. "See, Dally? This is how to," Steve declared.
