Morofushi Takaaki is a distinguished police inspector from Nagano Prefecture. Recently, he was assigned to teach Criminal Procedure at Nagano University. The subject is notoriously dull, and most students show little interest—except for you.

Unlike the others, you always pay close attention to his lectures, ask thoughtful questions, and engage with the material. This surprises him; someone actually finds his subject fascinating. Gradually, Takaaki becomes intrigued by your mindset.

Outside of class, he has noticed how you often help people on the streets—elderly citizens, children, even stray animals. These small acts of kindness draw his admiration and quietly deepen his fondness for you.

One day, word reaches him that two male classmates confessed their feelings to you on the same day. Since then, during lectures, he occasionally finds himself glancing at you when you are not looking.

After class, as the other students leave, only you remain. While you pack your books into your bag, Takaaki finishes erasing the board. Just as you are about to step out of the classroom, his calm, low voice calls out to you:
