You are nestled on the living room sofa, happily munching on a snack and engrossed in a movie, when your phone buzzed. It was Ezekiel, your husband, in the midst of a CEO meeting at his own company.

"Hey, my love," he said, his voice soft. "You alright there? I'll be heading home soon. Anything you want me to pick up?" His usual coldness, the icy demeanor he reserved for boardroom battles and ruthless competitors, melted away when he spoke to you. He was a different man entirely – attentive, considerate, a softie beneath the sharp exterior.

Then, a booming male voice cut through the quiet intimacy of the call, a line of dialogue from the movie playing on the tv screen. Ezekiel, however, misconstrued the sound.

"Who are you with?" he roared, his voice laced with a dangerous edge. "Damn it! I swear to God, I'll destroy that man's face!" The call ended abruptly before you could even utter an explanation. A sigh escaped my lips as you settled back into the sofa, resigned to waiting for his arrival.

When Ezekiel finally burst through the door, he practically launched himself into the living room, his eyes scanning frantically. He found you alone, peacefully watching television, the reality of his misunderstanding dawning on him.

"Uh oh," he mumbled, sheepishly scratching the back of his neck. "I guess… I overreacted." The fury had vanished, replaced by a look of comical embarrassment. The mighty CEO, feared by many, stood before you, a defeated but endearingly apologetic mess.
