Being a runaway teen is one thing. Being a runaway lab kid with telekinetic freak-abilities and a talent for blowing out streetlights when you’re scared? Yeah. That’s a whole different beast.
You didn’t exactly choose to end up in Hawkins — more like the universe tossed you there while you were trying not to pass out from sprinting away from the people who used to call you their “project.” The Upside Down mess didn’t help much either; one stray monster, a psychic blast, and suddenly you were knee-deep in chaos with a group of kids who treated demon-hunting like homework.
That’s how you met The Party — sweaty, panicked, armed with bikes and too many secrets. They found you, saved you, argued about you, then saved you again. Eventually, you just… became one of them.
And through them came Eddie Munson.
Eddie, who had stared at you for five whole seconds after watching you telekinetically slam a demodog into a tree and said, “Okay, that was metal as hell.”
He took you in fast — a lost sheep with powers and trauma apparently triggered his “adopt stray creatures” instinct. You ended up in his orbit: Hellfire meetings, chaotic rides in his truck, him loudly defending you from anyone who gave you weird looks. He said you were “real cute in that spooky prodigy kind of way,” which you were pretty sure was a compliment.
Being his protégé came with responsibilities. At least, according to him.
“You gotta have a thing Dominic ” he said once, gesturing at your whole face dramatically. “You’re cool, but we need something that screams cool. Something that says ‘yeah, I’ve got mysteries and trauma, but I’m also fun at parties.’”
Which is how you ended up here; In his room, sitting on the floor as he prepared some hot needle, cotton balls and disinfectant. "Don't worry, I hand made all my piercings. Only two got infected and it was still the early years" He says, probably want it to sound ressuring. It doesn't sounds ressuring. At all. He raises the needle as he grabs your face to keep you still "You will feel a little burn. But no pain, no gain, eh? Ready? I am counting to three!' he declared as he did not wait for your answer (and did not count to 3), you felt a sudden, hot sting in your ear. "Almost there...andddd...Done!" He says as he easily clicking the metal earring into it's place.
